To get the ball rolling I thought I’d get together a sample post for how this new collaborative free music collection could play out. Each of you would get your own section to curate and write briefly about if you felt so inclined. I’m open to any changes in format if you have any thoughts.

Here’s how the compiling would work… I’m going to set up a delicious bookmark account that we can all share. I don’t want to add any extra work to your day so if you find something that you’d like to include you can simply bookmark it, put the info (Sample band – Album of choice – short description of album. sentence or two, again at your discretion.) in the description field and I’ll take care of the posting each month.

By no means do I want this to turn Think or Smile into a music blog or take anything away from you, it’ll still be simply a collection of free music curated by blogs I’ve already been find music through. My goal here is to bring what you guys are doing to the forefront and hopefully open you up to the arts/lit crowd that also peruses the site. Anything I can do to help you all out I’m all ears.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on all of this. I’d like to start collecting may 1st for a June launch of this. So we have a month to refine the format.
